Betsy graduated with honors from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor or Arts degree in accounting and finance. She has performed accounting and related functions since 1979 in a variety of industries ranging from aerospace to international to not-for-profit, which has resulted in a comprehensive range of knowledge of the functions, methods and organization necessary for a successful and efficient enterprise.

Ms. McElhinney has extensive experience in a wide range of accounting and financial functions from basic accounting to financial statement preparation and review, tax compliance, audits and budgeting. Her forte is organization – efficiency and accuracy cultivated over 36 years in financial administration. She brings to our clients a clear understanding of the accounting, financial and compliance issues facing organizations and businesses today.
